My stay at Doubletree By Hilton was a mixed experience in terms of luxury versus value. The location was convenient for my needs, and the room was clean and spacious, with added amenities like a microwave that I found to be a thoughtful touch. The staff, notably, were incredibly friendly and professional, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. However, I did encounter some issues with the airport shuttle service. After a flight cancellation, I waited over two hours for the shuttle van, which never arrived. This prompted me to rent a car to reach the hotel, adding an unexpected expense to my trip.While the hotel offers a range of facilities such as a fitness center and indoor swimming pool, the inconsistency in the shuttle service did detract from the overall value of my stay. The complimentary warm cookies at check-in were a nice gesture, but in terms of cost-effectiveness, the lack of reliable transportation was a significant drawback. For future guests, I recommend clarifying the shuttle schedule or considering alternative transportation options to avoid inconvenience.
